is there anywhere i could find cheaper prices on the AP's??

I would really love to get one, I have always wanted to get an AP.

As far as I know, there are plenty of places that offer some type of discounted tickets, but none that currently offer discounted AP's. We are a military family and I know that for our base, there are discounts on tickets, but none on AP's. Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong!

The last two years, Disney has done promotions where you are able to get into the parks free for a day. If you take advantage of that, you have been able to put that amount (currently $72 I believe) towards your AP.

In 2009, you got in free (or a gift card, or Fastpasses) for your birthday.

For 2010, if you volunteered with the right organizations in the right time period in the right way, you got in free (or Fastpasses, or some pins) on a day of your choosing, with a few days blocked out.

So IF they do something like that for 2011, you could do that, which equates to a $72 discount on your AP. Of course, I don't know that they WILL, but that's been a "discount" that has been going around for quite some time.

i wish i would have taken advantage of those things.

next year i definitely will.

I hope my dream of getting an AP will happen.!

About a year ago, Costco was selling APs and you got a $50 gift card with them. At that time, we had them already. Now that we want to buy new ones for this summer (we let the first ones expire since we weren't going during the year) they don't seem to be doing that. I keep hoping, but it looks like they aren't.

That was the best offer ever! We did that for our 3 APs and it was so cool to get $150 to spend in the parks. I keep hoping that offer will come back ... but I'm guessing the success of the SoCal monthly payment program has discouraged it :(

Yes, that was a good deal! Sorry that we missed that one!

I forgot about the teachers union. We will probably end up doing that.

Costco has a different deal now, I don't recall all the details, but it's something like entrance for 4 different days for a reduced price.

We did the volunteering, went last night and bought our Annual Passes. We had no problems receiving the reduced price. Since we purchased parking, we were told to bring last night's parking receipt in the next time we visit and they will refund the $14.
I was surprized, but happy!
