Does anyone know if there is a way to buy your AP with Disney Gift Cards? I notice on Disney's site there is no option for gift cards. I thought it worth asking all you savvy peeps.

Wait until you get to Disney to make your purchase. If you order online, you only get a voucher that needs to be exchanged for your AP anyway. At one time, there was a limit to the number of GCs that you could use in a single ticket transaction but the rule was changed about a year ago to permit unlimited forms of payment.

I went to our local supermarket (Giant Eagle) and bought a $500 Disney gift card. They offer fuel perks, worth $$ off of gas which accumulate when you make purchases, so that was a good way to rack up points.
Then, I went to the Disney Store and bought the annual pass. On the day that we arrived at Disney, I went to guest relations at Downtown Disney and activated it. That way I didn't have to waste valuable morning park time.
