It's actually more important to have a record (handwritten, photographed or photocopied) of the information contained on the voucher rather than the info on the AP itself.
That's because the voucher is like cash. There are no names on it and it can be converted to an AP simply by the bearer presenting a photo ID. If you should lose it, there is no way to stop this from happening unless you have a copy of the info from the voucher itself.
AP's themselves are different. Once you have purchased an AP in FL or activated your voucher for the actual pass, you are already in the ATS ticketing computer by name. All a Guest Relations CM needs to do is see your photo ID and look up your pass by your name and it can be reissued then and there.
