I bought our annual passes with the additional dvc member discount on 11/7/2009. we will be going back to disney in 3/10 and 8/10. I will be also getting the 1-day voucher from give a day get a day promotion. Can I use the 1 day voucher to renew our annual passes in 8/10? I read somewhere there is a window for AP renewal. Will we be allowed to renew our AP earlier when we will be physically in the park in 8/10?

What is the renewal fee for the regular AP with the dvc discount? thanks

It is my understanding that you can exchange your "give a day, get a day" and apply it towards an annual pass purchase.

Currently the renewals for an adult annual pass for DVC members is $336.36 for the 4 park pass and $483.51 for the premium pass.

The renewal window for annual passes is up to 30 days before or after the expiration date.

We obtained the vouchers for our AP renewal with the DVC discount last July. When we picked up our APs at Christmas an additional 3 months was included. Just out of curiosity is the 15 month incentive just for AP renewals or is it also included with new AP purchases?

I just got off the phone booking our rooms for a short visit in May I was told that the extended 3 months (15 month total) was just for renewals

I'm a little confused? You bought Annual Passes in NOVEMBER of 2009, your going in March and then again in August. Your Annual Pass does NOT expire until NOVEMBER 2010. So why would you want to renew it in AUGUST???, you still have 3 months on it?

If your not at disney when your pass expires you can order a renewal online within the 30 days of expiration, my understanding is they mail you a voucher and you just turn it in for your actualy ticket upon your next visit.

Or you could tell yourself that you absolutely have to go for a short weekend in November because well your pass expires and you have to renew it :) (thats what i usually do).

dw and i's passes run out at thanksgiving 2010.to get the give a day aplyed to your renewal you have to be there in person.sooooo that means a quick weekend trip.:thumbsup2

Because she wants to apply her GAD value to the renewal purchase. You can only do that in person.

I keep getting mixed messages. You can use your GAD voucher towards the price of your renewal within the renewal guidelines....right? In person.

Example:

AP/DVC expires on April 29, 2010
We arrive in WDW on April 24, 2010
We have a GAD voucher

This is all good correct?

I'm also interested in doing this. We already received our vouchers for GAD. Our annual passes expire 7/11. We will be in DW 7/4-7/9. I wanted to use the GAD voucher towards my DVC renewal. Where do you do it? Do you need to convert the GAD voucher to a ticket first and enter the park and then put it toward the renewal? Will I get the extra 3 months? Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!

Yes, you can apply the ticket from the GAD program towards the purchase/renewal of an Annual Pass.
