Correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears that the Power Pass is available to non-Florida residents. I understand in general the differences in the passes, but can anyone please comment on whether a AAA member staying onsite would see any benefit from the higher level passes. I get AAA discounts and I don't park at the park. I understand the blockout dates for the Power Pass. Do all passes get room discounts? How much value are the off-peak HHN tickets?

All Annual Passes are available to non FL residents, just at a higher price. ;)
Not all passes get discounts. With the Power Pass you do not get room discounts or discounts on food ect. In fact the only thing you get with Power is 1 year free admission on days that are not blocked out and to select special events like Mardi Gras. But if you have AAA you will get discounts on food and rooms. Sometimes AP discounts on rooms are higher than with AAA. I would keep checking them until it comes close to the time you have to buy your tickets. Then decide if the extra cost of the Preferred AP is giving you a better deal and worth the added cost. You'll only need to have one AP to receive the room discount. Also I am not sure if you are close to Florida and you will be able to come back again before your pass expires to get a lot of use out of it. Lastly, it's hard to say what the value of HHN ticket is because the ticket prices have not been released yet.

Here is last years HHN pricing to give you an idea on how much tickets were.

Annual Pass comparison

Hope this helps. Maybe others will chime in if I've left something out or over looked something. :goodvibes

no discounts are included in the power pass compared to the preferred and premier passes.

for the preferred annual pass and the AAA card, you receive 10% discount off of food and merch in the parks.
carts excluded.
most places in city walk honor the AAA card for discounts.
not all honor the ap.

room discounts varies for the AAA.
same with the AP for the onsite hotels.
promos for room discounts can be lower than the above if you stay quite a few nights.

i have both preferred annual pass and the aaa.
i usually book w/the aaa when i book in advance and then change rates when the other is cheaper for the rooms.

the AP is great for discounted HHN tix.
you can pull up a few of last years threads on hhn for the cost involved.
or do a google and get last years hhn tix.

i have been buying the hhn passes for the past years.
i don't buy individual hhn tix so i can't answer your question on their costs.

So if the blockout dates and parking at the parks are not issues, the most economical thing to do is buy one Preferred for the discounts and the rest Power Passes. This assumes that the APH discount on rooms would be better than Stay More. Is this correct?

Yes. That is exactly the case.

Therefore, make sure that there IS an APH rate for your stay, and that it's better than Stay More, before buying the one preferred pass, if the other discounts won't make up for it already.
