Annual Pass Question

Not sure if this is the right place to post this question or not...how do you get the annual pass sliders for the magic band? We purchased annual passes back in March during the middle of our trip and noticed them but weren't sure where to pick them up or if they were mailed to you...any ideas? Would love to get them before our next trip in May over Memorial Day weekend.

The sliders were sent with the magic bands included with the AP. We were not able to order the magic bands until we had used the AP once so maybe check your MDE account and see if you have the option to order the bands.

I had this same question - we already had bands so did not opt for new ones. We upgraded our passes to AP at the park. Will we get the sliders NEXT TIME we stay if we order new bands?

Sliders are sent with bands that you order after purchasing a new pass or a renewal.

There's your problem.
The sliders come with the bands that you order after you activate your Annual Pass.

The bands you get for your next trip will be your resort bands and will not include a slider.

You have to order your AP bands to get a slider.

There is no difference whatsoever between bands except the slider.

If you go to guest relations and ask, they do have sliders there that they can give you

Yep, once you use the AP the first time and you log on to MDE you'll see a separate, special Magic Band order. There's nothing unique about this Magic Band but it does come in a unique box and in this box (provided they are not out of them) is a slider. We have always gotten them in our box but I have read where others said they did not get them in their box and called and were told they were out when their band shipped.

I am hoping to get ours at guest services this summer during the trip we activate our pass. We will be there 15 nights. We will probably ask at a few guest service places until one has them. (If any does)

I asked for some at the guest relations at the MK and the CMwas happy to give one one.

no you can have as many or a few MB as you would like ( I have maybe 30)

Nope. Magic Bands are completely passive. Nothing is linked to them. They are nothing more than a key that allows the Mickey readers, door readers, check out readers, etc, to see the data stored in your MDE account.
Just like your debit card allows the ATM to see the info stored in your bank account.
All Magic Bands assigned to you do the same thing.

I should add the only thing on the MB is if you play the card game at the MK you have to play with the band you started with but besides this, the band holds nothing on it.
