Annual Pass Question

I'm not sure if this question has been asked before, but on the Disneyland website, if you log on, it shows you how many times you've used your annual pass. I've had an annual pass on and off for many years and don't always renew on my expiration date. I know they keep your photo and information for quite some time after exp date. Anyway, I want to know does the number on the website indicate how many times you've used it since renewing the pass, or does it start when you first bought your first annual pass? TIA!

It doesn't reset when you renew, but it might not go back all the way, if you've had a pass for a long time. I lapsed my pass for a few months and that didn't reset it either. The number includes days you've scanned your AP at a park, but also parking.

Do you have any idea when they started tracking? I may have been more times than I thought!:rotfl2:

We have been lapsed 4 months and I am still able to log in to the AP site and see my # of visits, AP hotel rates, etc.

I hope it doesn't start us over when we re-start our APs - I like having that ticker!

I've had an AP for over 10 years and I know that the number that I had when they first added it did not go back to the beginning, but I couldn't tell you how far back it goes. I just bought a new AP after lapsing and the counter did not reset when I entered my new barcode.

That is helpful info; thanks!

Generally, even if months, or years, have lapsed, you have to buy the ap as a renewal, not a new ap. I've done the renewal even after lapsing for a year or so between kids & the number count kept going.

If it's lapsed it's not a renewal. It's a new AP, they just keep your address on file.
