I've heard about these but haven't done one yet. Does everyone in your party need an AP or can an AP take a couple of guests with them onto the ride? I have an AP but my daughter and her boyfriend do not.

It depends on the particular preview- the Nemo musical seats were offered only to those with an actual pass- as was the preview of Everest. The Nemo ride as well as the Stich ride was offered to APs and up to 3 guests each.

Right..I've done the preview for Soarin and could take one person with me and EE. I went alone on that one but went with a friend during the CM preview.

When we did the Expedition Everest preview, we also had to have photo ID. I don't think we needed that for the Soarin' preview. It really will depend on Disney's expectations of the crowds. Expedition Everest was a total nightmare.
