Has anybody been able to get the annual pass pin yet? They've been sold out each time I've been to get one. I'm going again this weekend and would like to know where they've had them.

And what do they look like?

Thanks :)

We were there 11/9 - 11/15 and were unsuccessful in trying to get one. They said come back in a couple of weeks when they got the new supply. Not so easy to do!

Perhaps the reason that they are in short supply is that they allowed annual passholders to purchase as many as 25 pins at a time. Why would that be? Shouldn't they be limited to one pin per pass?

If they are the same ones that they had at mgm a few weeks ago I got mine
And yes there was a wait & guys were buying like 10 to 20 at a time
there should be a limit.

We were there the last week of October and they were every where. They were limited to 5 per AP holder. They did run out for a couple of days, but got restocked by the end of our visit. I got extras to trade for the future ones that I won't be able to buy.

but you have to ask for them...they are not our...they had them 2 days ago at the Hat in MGM
and the pin station @ Epcot.....

This is the first in a series...w/ the 100 yrs logo on it ....the second pin has also been released
and can be found at Pleasure Island in the store that sells all the artwork, and porcelain figures
it has the fesival of the masters theme....and you have to ask the cashier for them too...when we purchased
ours we were told that there was a 2 limit, and you had to present your annual passholder at all locations..

the next pin is due to be released around Feb. 2nd....

Good Pin Hunting..

PS and if you haven't gotten your other passholder lanyard w/ pin from the Animal Kingdom, you may want
to pick up that one....you have to ask for it at the Island Mercantile shop..inside..they will stamp the back
of your pass, so you can't go for seconds....and this one is free....pin too..

Isn't that passholder pin only for renewals? I thought so back in the Spring. So this means that even if I do rock an AP, I can still get this pin w/o a renewal? Sweeeet.

We were at AK on 12/30 about 3:00 pm and they said they were completely out of the annual pins at the Island Merchantile. The lady said they would not have any more until the fall and that the Island Merchantile was the only place to get the AP pins and lanyards. She said the "offer" had been extended from September while supplies lasted and that they had just run out that morning. There were several other customers that had called before coming to AK and were told they had plenty.

I don't think I understand. Why would they only have pins for September for Annual Passes when many people renew/purchase first time AP's at different times of the year. For example, we purchased our AP's in November for our December trip with a planned return in April. It seems that one of the benefits we were expecting when we purchased our AP's was not available as we had been led to believe. While a pin and lanyard were not the deciding factors when we purchased, we spent over $1,000.00 for three AP's. You would think they wouldn't be cheap with a pin and lanyard. They should have pins available through out the year for all AP holders, not just those who purchase in August. They know by the number of AP's sold how many pins they would need.

You would think with attendance so low, they would be delighted to have people buying AP's and would keep their end of the deal. Is this the way this usually works out...will they have more, or new issues, when we return in April?
