Annual Pass Parking Question

Hello all!

I've been an annual pass holder a few years now, but they just recently added free parking to our pass... but they also took away the discount card. When we renewed we never got new actual passes... the backs of them still stay 2014. Is this okay for getting free parking? Will they scan it to make sure it's valid or will I have to get a new pass with the correct years on the back? Thanks in advance!

We're heading down tomorrow for a 4 day trip to celebrate my sisters birthday. She just brought up this question and is pretty anxious about it... I'm just kind of... eh. have a great night everyone!

We just tell the attendant at the parking kiosk that we have an annual pass. About 1/4 times they will actually scan our magic band, but most of the time they just wave us through.

Yes, the separate discount cards are gone. We just renewed our AP's on Tuesday at the MK and the CM told us to use the AP card for everything. Just hand the AP card and your ID to the parking attendant. They have never scanned our card, at most they have compared the name on the card and the ID. Most of the time they just glance at the card and ID and waved us on.

I've never had my magic band scanned, and I've only had one check the name on the card against my id. wave through is the most common action i see!
