Leaving on our trip in about a week and I just want to confirm that Annual passes are the same price on-line as they are if we wait to purchase them at the park. I may purchase one Preferred AP on-line to take advantage of the payments plan. Our plan was to get one Preferred for the discounts and free parking and the remainder of our family would get Power Passes. We'll have about a week (after being on-site Disney) and we plan to do Universal and Disney water parks during that week. Is a safer plan to buy tickets from Costco or Undercovertourist and upgrade those tickets to Power Passes after we know our kids like the Universal parks? There's always the chance that our kids (ages 13, 10 and 5) might not want to spend as much time at Universal as we think they will. We don't have a return trip to Orlando planned within the year but will consider the possibility so there's a chance we will use the annual passes after this trip. So should we decide to upgrade to Annual Passes do we just need to do that before we leave the park on the last day the ticket is valid for?
