Hello All - I've been reading all the info about APs but can't figure out if they'd be worth it for us. We're planning on going next Easter for 6 nights (kids are 5 and 6 so want to take our time as it's our 1st ever visit, and do Paris too), probably staying at Davy Crockett. Quote from Disney is £978 for accom with hopper tickets. We'd like to do Buffalo Bill's and eat at a few of the table service restaurants, so it seems like the discounts would be useful. Any advice gratefully received! thanks

Annual passes might not be the best deal for you .

I think you'd be better buying shares before you book. You'll ge discount on your hotel (10% - I think) and you'll get 15% discount on Buffalo Bill's, table service and purchases.

If you do decide on annual passes they would also get you 15% discount on them too.

I'm off to find a post which might help explain a bit more. Here it is http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1435306&referrerid=&highlight=shares

PS We might see you there . We are going at Easter next year.:yay:

The normal break-even point is thought to be 3 days, so a trip of 6 days will probably mean it is worth considering an AP.

Have a look at the sponsor thread as this could give you another 10% off the cost, albeit you have plenty of time to consider it :)

That's really helpful, thanks so much, those links were great and explained about shareholding too, I hadn't thought about that side of things. Think DH (ie Tramp!) will be v keen on that as sounds like sensible investment thing to do as well. I'm just thinking about the shopping discounts...!!
