Annual pass food discount in combination with dining plan

Can we use the annual pass discount on additional food that is not covered when using the dining plan? For example we will have the regular dining plan which includes an entrée and dessert. If we were to order an appetizer as well can we apply the annual pass holder discount? Thank you!

I know that you can with TIW discount, so I don't see any reason why you cannot.
