annual pass discounts

A few months ago we purchased our first Annual Passes for our family for WDW. I called WDW today to find out what kinds of resort discounts we get for the end of November thru early December, 2004. They said that they did not yet have any Annual Pass discounts listed for those dates. In fact, the woman I talked to over the phone didn't know when or if there would be resort discounts listed. Does anyone know how far out in advance they issue the Annual Pass discounts for the resorts? Would there be any reason they would not issue discounts for some resorts? (Specifically, for the Pop Century resort, which is where we want to stay.) I ended up booking the resort (two rooms: one for my family and one for my in-laws) at the off-season rate, being told that I could call closer to the dates of our reservation to see if a discount would apply. If anyone could give me some info on when they issue the Annual Pass discounts, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks, fellow-DISboards-members!

Annual Passholder discounts typically come out 2-3 months in advance. Start looking for AP discounts in the late fall (September or October). They can offer up to a 40% savings; well worth the cost of the AP!
