Annual Pass Discounts?

We are discussing a family vacation to Orlando this summer. If we go it would definatly include Universal, and maybe Disney. Are there any discounts or other perks for annual pass holders that would make it worth getting an AP over a 4 or 7 day ticket?

I have a trip to Disney planned for the fall, so having an annual pass would also allow me to go there for a day or two, so I'm thinking it might be worth it just for that.

You receive park discounts on food and merchandise as well as discounted park tickets for friends/family. Also...after the first time, you get free parking which saves $14.00 per day. Plus...if you plan to come back for the special events like HHN, you get excellent discounts off tickets. Make sure you get the Preferred or Premier as the Power Passes do not include any discounts.
