Hi I am trying to decide if annual pass is worth it. Do they get any other discounts a percent off at shopping and dining? Is there any discount or incentive for renewing AP year after year?
I heard that now it is buy 12 months get 3 months free....

Thanks
Jamie

You can find a list here and here.

In short:

  • [*]There are some dining and shopping discounts.
[*]There are almost always room-only discounts available.
[*]Parking is currently free for AP holders.
[*]You sometimes get invited to special passholder events or have access to special passholder merchandise.
[*]There are some discounts for the waterparks and DQ when you show your pass.
[*]There are some discounts for tours.

AP renewals now offer an additional 3 months so that the new AP's expiration date is 15 months from the old AP's. New AP passes are still only good for 12 months.

you can use the birthday or the volunteer pass (nextyr) to upgrade.

i used my birthday to buy the season for $160-ish. next yr, I get the renewal price, and should be able to use the volunteer voucher. if not, i'll let the pass expire and use teh voucher to apply to the price (allowed).

You are eligible for to purchase the Tables In Wonderland dining discount card. Beyond the printed discounts listed on the official site, nothing else is guaranteed. Renewals have historically been buy 11 months, get the twelfth for free. Currently they are running a buy 11 get 15, but that ends in a few months and they may not carry it on past that date. You may get lodging discounts, but recently there was a PIN based discount for Jan, and we are still waiting for a general AP discount. Also they have recently changed some rules on packages so it's no longer as advantageous for AP holder with the free dining or buy 4 get 3 deals. Also, everyone needs to have the same package, so if you plan on taking advantage of that, either everyone needs an AP, or you would still need to buy a ticket for the AP holder.
Best way to look at it is only what is guaranteed. The park admissions, the TIW discounts, and the printed discounts. Anything beyond that is gravy.

I just got a Disney Chase Visa. Because I applied using the Annual Passholder website, I got a $100 gift card.
