Hello all,

Planning a second trip to DLP in July and trying to figure out ticket options. We arrive on the 14th which I now realise is Bastille day (durr) and the whole weekend is a blackout period. We were thinking on buying a Francilien pass on the first day then heading South for a week and then coming back to Disney at the end of the holiday.

Does anyone know if you can pay to enter the parks and then upgrade to an annual pass, even if it is a black out day?

Many thanks to anyone who can assist

yes, you can buy a Francillien (or any other) annual pass on a blackout day and use it that day. I wouldn't bother buying a one-day ticket, I'd just buy the annual pass at the ticket booths or Guest Services.

Thanks for your answer :)

I've just booked the Eurostar, trains within France to get us to the Loire and about to book accomodation :cool1:

Have posted on another thread if is is possible to combine buying an annual pass online ( and benefitting from a free pass for under 7's) with using this on a black out day. This seems even less likely to be possible but I live in hope.

Yes, you pay the full price at the ticket booth/window or Guest Relations Window and with the temporary ticket, you exchange at the Annual Passport Office during the day. Just one remind, when you change the park with the definitive passport, have the contrat with you to prove it's your first day.

PS: It's not possible to use the Francilien on the second and third day after buy it.
