Hi everyone!!
Our vacation is fast approaching and I thought I'd try my hand at my first PTR/TR! So please bear with me!pooh: We are going from August 19-24, and staying at the All Star Music! We're music lovers so this resort ought to be perfect. We're indulging ourselves in the free dining offer.

The Participants:
Me: I'm 23 and I've only been to Disney once before, in 2005, with my high school band. We had the amazing opportunity to play in the world, at the outdoor ampitheatre....and at the restaurant with the playing lizard, I'm not sure the name, but if anyone out there can tell me I'd love to know! My previous trip did not allow for much Disney time, only a few HOURS at each park, which clearly is not sufficient! I have taken over all of the planning of this trip, which I must say is fine with everyone else. I've been doing lots of research on the DISboards!! I love all things Disney, am a huge fan of food! and love all rides, big and small.

Mindy: 16, my little sister. She has never been to Disney and is not quite as excited as I'd like, but I'm working on her! She is a very picky eater, which could result in some interesting TS meals. She loves most rides, but tends to get motion sickness:sick:

Mom(Paula): 46, and my mom! She has never been to Disney but is very excited! She has always wanted to go, and we are going to celebrate her
25th anniversary working with the same doctor. Her boss is a generous man and actually funded part of our wonderful trip for her anniversary! She is most excited to see the castle and to eat at CRT. She is prone to motion sickness and neck/back problems so she'll be sticking to the calm rides!

Sheila: 50ish, and my aunt, my dad's sister. We take her with us on all trips because my dad is a homebody and she loves to get away and is just so much fun! She also has never been to Disney, and is also so excited to see the Castle and just breathe in all of that Disney magic. :wizard: Her dining request was Coral Reef, which was hard to secure, but I persisted and managed to get one after the wonderful introduction of online ADR's.

I will be adding more details later! I am at work, oops!, and am without my ADR information and itinerary, as well as pictures. So I will be adding all of that soon!
If anyone out there has any ideas/suggestions of what I should do with my family of Disney virgins, I am open to anything! Or if you see that I am missing something critical from my itinerary please tell me!
It's time to get back to work and stop reading DIS posts!:surfweb:

I put a lot of time and thought into our ADR's, and changed them so many times! The online ADR system seems to make my problem with indecision worse  Right now our "for sure" ADR's are:
August 21: CRT for dinner @ 5:40
August 22: Coral Reef for dinner @ 5:05
August 23: Crystal palace for dinner @ 5:50
I am having trouble deciding what to do for August 20. We want to see Fantasmic that night and I dont know if I should go for a seating at 4ish or 5ish, what would be better so we are for sure in line in time to get a seat? Also, should we eat at 50's or SciFi? So many choices!!:confused3

Our first day, August 19, our flight arrives at 12:42pm, and I believe we will go to DTD that evening for supper. My plan is to use a CS credit for supper at Wolfgang Puck Express. I've read wonderful reviews of it:)

Also, I just booked the Fireworks Dessert Party for the night of the 21. I am so excited about this one! My mom didn't really want to go because she was worried about not seeing Spectro and not having a good view of Wishes, but after reading the review of the party, I think we should be alright on both accounts. Now I just have to tell her I booked it already:scared1:, although I did use my own CC.

Tonight, we are hopefully having a brainstorming session about what everyone wants to do. I am going to have a piece of paper for each person, and we're going to sit around the table just writing down/telling me what everyone wants to do/see/eat while we're there so we can narrow down our itinerary/days more. :woohoo:

It's getting closer everyday!!!
