annual DVC account status reports?

has anyone done any indepth research into Member Services as to why they dont provide annual status reports re: DVC contracts (total points, points borrowed, banked etc.) They already send out mailings once a year with our dues statements....would it REALLY be that difficult/costly to throw an extra printout into the envelope? They obviously already maintain this info on their computers --since they have it when you call MS to book reservations etc. It just seems odd to me. Of course--an actual website where you can book reservations and maintain your account and check points would be even better but I can keep dreaming cant I?? )

You can get an account activity statement anytime you like, but you virtually have to have a PHD in DVCism to read it.
It is very tough to understand, so I just varify point status with MS everytime I call.

It is especially hard to read if you have multiple contracts. Each is listed separately, with a run down of point useage for it alone. But it is a valuable tool to check your point status, once you can figure it out.

Many floating and points timeshares send out a yearly usage summary that usually includes about 3 years worth of activity. It sounds like a good idea to me.
