Annual Dues paid with Disney Vacation Account

I understand that there is only a limited amount of Disney gift cards accepted to pay your annual dues. I was thinking about consolidated them into my Disney Vacation Account. Does anyone know if they accept that form of payment for the dues?

Pretty sure that is one Disney item you cannot use your DVA for. Funny, I just a few seconds ago logged out of my own DVC account when I saw your post.

The DVA terms say it won't work, but it does. Just tell Member Services that you're paying with a gift card and give them your DVA account number.

That said; gift cards can be consolidated at disneygiftcard.com, up to $1,000 per card. The letter from Member Accounting said they'd only accept 5 cards. If your dues are over $5,000, I have a feeling they'd make an exception.

I did exactly as above and paid earlier this week. My dues are just above $5,000 so I thought I'd give the DVA a try. The CM just asked how much of the gift card I wanted applied - it was the entire amount of my dues and all but about $5 off my DVA balance.

oh, thank you for this info! So I can make a one-time payment into my DVA on my Disney VISA and then call DVC Member Services and give them my DVA account number to pay my DVC Annual dues? Woo Hoo, that's another $20 gift card from Disney since my dues are over $1K.

I used the new web site to combine my gift cards and paid my dues in several phone calls with no problems. We purchase gift cards during the year and get fuel perks for them! We also ask for gift cards instead of restaurant cards during the year and save them all. New site to combine cards is disneygiftcard.com and after a little tutorial it was not difficult to use.

You have to call. Online you can only use a credit card.

They'll still take faxes too. Faxes used to be the way to go with a lot of people paying with a LOT of gift cards (myself included) - the phone waits were terrible. That doesn't seem to be an issue this year with the 5 card limit.

I've been trying to pay my annual dues for the year that were due 1/15 and that part of their website is down so now my dues will be late. How long do I have to pay these before they are considered late. I did also contact Disney but was wondering what the deadline is? I thought I read somewhere I had until sometime next month but I can't find that information on the Disney site. Does anyone know?

They are not considered past due until after Feb 14th.
