Announcing a Rumors and News Board DIS meet!!

This Saturday evening at 7pm at the poolside bar at the Dolphin

DVC-Landbaron, Peter Pirate/Captain Crook, and gcurling will be meeting for some "live" rumors and news discussion. Anyone out there who would care to join us, feel free. First round's on Landbaron

Sorry about the lead time, we just pulled together the plans today. Didn't even start thinking about it until last week.

Unfortunately I can't make it to that one. However, if anyone is planning to visit WDW during the DIS-Con event the last week of November into december, I would love to put together some kind of meet, perhaps at the ESPN restaurant.

Now why would you people want to go back to the same old place one more time when there’s A BRAND NEW DISNEY THEME PARK awaitng your inspection!!!! Why isn’t everyone rushing out to this side of the continent for their long drink of magic????? The first round at the Avalon Cove will be one me (if it’s still open by then….).

Sorry I’m going to miss this one, but the glitz of Hollywood beacons this weekend. Sneak by the ‘Mission: Space’ construction site, the foundations for the four spinner units are supposed to be in place (you’ll get a pretty good idea about the layout of the attraction).

You really do care...I can't make it, lol! But gcurling and I should have Landbaron ready to move up to Car #2 by your arrival (and Duck, car number one's a Cowboy Limo, I hope that's acceptable) so the rest will be up to you!

Seriously though, the kids start school on the 13th and fatherly duties take precedent, but if The Pirate would stay home pehaps I could still make it!

Scoop, my deepest apologies. I really wish I could make it that weekend, but I'd get cut out of a few wills if I tried.

YoHo, I am struggling to get my scanner operational. I don't think the driver is compatible with the operating system on the new computer. The manufacturer hasn't been much help, either. I don't have a digital camera (still living in an analog world) But, I work at a great big ol' newspaper, there's got to be a scanner around there somewhere. Rest assured (and assuming Baron is willing to pose) there will be photos on the Rumors board next week.

AV, Baron hinted that he might have convinced you to come. I thought he was just joking with me, too bad you can't make it. It would be great to meet you.

To all who can't make this one, I've got 5 more trips to The World planned this year, I'm sure we can pull something together.

AV this is wonderful. How nice of you to buy the drinks at Avalon Cove that finally makes my mind up about ckecking it out(Avalon Cove that is). I will be down the 1st and 2nd of Sept.
tell me do they have a nice bar?
