Am I the only one who finds the fake child’s voice saying “take your parents by the hand” in the pre show announcements condescending and very annoying?

Probably not, but I didn't think it was a big deal. I don't think I gave it any thought. If you really didn't like it, thankfully for you it will be gone in a year

I'll have to listen again as I didn't notice it on the videos I've seen of the show. Or maybe the videos edited that out.

It's actually a child, same one that says Soarin to tower, during the show

I doubt you're the only one but it didn't bug me - it did feel cheesy but then a lot of things are cheesy. I feel like they do this elsewhere too though I can't think of it off the top of my head.

I guess I was a bit sensitive since I just saw the last illuminated the night before

There were no announcements at all tonight, and I left at 9:15 when the show hadn’t started yet.

They announced the show was delayed at 9:15, 9:25 and 9:35pm. We left at 9:40 and walked to our room at the Boardwalk and never heard any fireworks. I'm assuming it was eventually canceled.
