Hi Guys, would welcome some help.
We have a 25th wedding anniversary in April in Orlando, and would like to do something a bit special and a bit out of the ordinary. Not sure what to do. We have knocked around a few restaurants and such, but as an activity, would like to do something different. Any suggestions for me and hubby?

For our 25th at WDW, we didn't do much special except go out to dinner at Artist Point. They gave us specialized menus (with our name), a real nice table, and a complimentary dessert.

Also, in our case, I'd never had an engagement ring, so we went to the pick a pearl place. DH picked the pearl and I picked the setting. Now I have my "engagement" ring. And what's a nice little bonus is that the pearl is my birthstone.

For one special occasion trip, we booked an Illuminations cruise. We thought it was wonderful. I think they have Wishes cruises too.

I think either would make for a romantic anniversary celebration.

I do not know what activities you two are into, but my all time favorite activity at Disney is the snorkeling permitted at Epcot. My spouse and I did that during our honeymoon and it was awesome. We also really enjoy the different Segway tours. I can't recommend the cruises as you can enjoy the same night shows while sipping wines and enjoying chocolates/cheeses sitting in Epcot France. Have a wonderful, wonderful time!! And I too look forward to our 25th anniversary at Disney. Congrats!! :cheer2:

We had a nice dinner at Le Cellier and the CM who was serving us brought us a complementary dessert and two glasses of champagne. We had a very nice dinner.

How about a Disney Tour? Like Keys to the Kingdom or Backstage Safari?

Victoria and Albert's is really nice for a special Anniversary.... well worth the expense!!

Just spent our 35th anniversary at WDW in December. We had dinner at the California Grill (Contemporary), it was so special. The table was covered with Mickey confetti and we were given a complimentary dessert and champagne.
Such a special night for us.

We have done anniversaries at V&A which is always nice. The Illuminations cruise is romantic. La Nouba is fun. Segway Around The World is our favorite Segway tour there. Parasailing isn't romantic but it's one of our favorite WDW memories.

One of the things we did last year for our 25th that I really enjoyed was getting a private cabana for our day at Typhoon Lagoon. I'll be doing that again this year.

It might not be romantic....but we have celebrated many milestones at the Hoop De Doo Review.....we take the bus to MK take the boat to FW for the 7:15 show....taken the boat back to the MK....have watched the fireworks from the MK or the Poly beach...the bus back to OKW.

It really doesn't matter what you do... There is always magic at Disney! Enjoy your time together!

As you can see from our signature, we are going on a 25th anniversary cruise. We were married on a Western Caribbean cruise. Afterwards we are doing 5 nights at BWV.

Others have made same suggestions for activities that I would have, but I'd add that you should be sure to say you'll be celebrating your 25th anniversary when you make any and all reservations. Many times they'll ask, but not always, and if they don't know, they can't make the magic happen!

After our Disney wedding we did dinner at narcoosees followed by a wishes cruise on the grand one yacht. It was amazing! We felt like celebrities boarding a beautiful yacht and cruising around. Yes, its the same fireworks show, but a totally unique experience. There are pics and details in my seeing trip report in my sig if you are interested.

Other things I would do would be dinner at v&a or Cali grill or the french restaurant upstairs in the France pavilion in EPCOT. You could also book a spa day for the 2 of you!

We are celebrating our 11th anniversary that falls on 11/11/11 at WDW with our family and members of our wedding party and their families. I am planning on the fireworks dessert party at MK (which we did in June and loved) and am going to book a photo session* on the beach at the Poly.
Congratulations on 25 years-you should be so very proud of yourselves!:lovestruc

:thumbsup2 all great suggestions
while i haven't been, i've heard wonderful things about the carriage ride in PO. also, consider a special tour, or something, anything you haven't done before.....V&A is certainly a special occassion place:cloud9:.
while this is no longer available, i have to share our 25th anniversary story:
i had booked the coral reef (one of our fave restaurants). DH had this weird look on his face as he perused the menu....first he stage-whispered that the kids in the pictures looks like ours, then he stared shaking his head , confused, as he saw our wedding picture and all the words to our wedding song imprinted.
there were tears in his eyes as a diver came to the window of the aquarium, holding a sign reading "dear joe, thank you for 25 years of magic - you made all my dreams come true!" and tossed mickey confetti. almost the entire restaurant stood to applaud as mr motormouth ;) sat there totally speechless.....
it was one of the most amazing, memorable events of our marriage (heck, of our lives!), and bstill rings tears to my eyes every time i think of it:lovestruc
