Anniversary Trip

I am planning a trip for DH and I without the kids. I'm looking for a nice hotel close to Disney. We will have a car. I am willing to stay in a timeshare type place, but only if they won't be hassling us to buy. Looking for around $150 - $200 per night. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Depending on what time of the year you go. If you're going in the slower times, I'd suggest Hilton @ Bonnet Creek, Waldorf Astoria or Hyatt Grand Cypress. All hotels would be in your price range during the slower times and all are very close to Disney. I've stayed at all 3 and love Hyatt the best. Waldorf was most romantic and was very nice too.

Unfortunately, I am looking at a peak time - spring break. Hilton Bonnet Creek and Hyatt Grand Cypress are running about $225, about the same as a Disney moderate. Waldorf Astoria is closer to $300. I am hoping for some better deals between now and then.

We have stayed at the Marriott properties. The World Center Marriott is great

Keep checking, as I got a great deal at Hilton Bonnet Creek right in the middle of all the summer rush ($169 which included breakfast (which was fantastic BTW) & late check-out). Check the hotels website, not Expedia or one of those travel sites, as I got my deal from the hotel directly. Also, if you stay at Hilton Bonnet Creek, you may get an option of upgrading to a room or suite at Waldorf for less than booking directly with them. At the time I booked my trip, I was able to upgrade to the Waldorf for $30 more. Booking directly with the Waldorf would have been around $60 more.
