Wendy (me) 46 but feels 21 in mind - Disney mad, the planner
John (DH) 46 - getting almost at Disney mad as me
Glen (DS) 14 - our lovely little boy one minute, stroppy teenager the next and mature young man occasionally
Ashley (DS) 11 - the loud one! A lot of this holiday has been based around his needs with him being very special.
Wednesday 24th October 2007
Bit dull today but kept to the plans - Blizzard Beach. Ashley got a bit sunburnt on his shoulders at TL as he refused to wear a tee shirt and the sun lotion must have eventually come off, today he was a bit more careful and listen to mum who always knows best! Glen headed straight for Summit Plummet, brave boy, while us cowards waited at the bottom for his to get his wedgie! Didnt get a photo, John got it on video.
He came down at 51mph according to the display. John bravely went on with him later in the day, I really wanted to try it but my backside is not designed for these slides, I feel the ridges on my bum and back as I go down! We all tried the other slides and raft rides.
We had lunch at Lottawatta Lodge with little sparrows hopping around
trying to catch any crumbs. Ashley wanted one to sit on his fingers like hed seen the parrots do at Seaworld!
Later in the day we returned to Epcot where we nipped into Eat to the Beat concert to see the Four Tops.
Glen had his eye on this Mexico shirt and ended up buying it and practically lives in it now.
Back to the hotel, kids wanted to swim (but they only had 20 minutes or so as the pool closed at 10pm!) so while John sat watching them I nipped into the Beach Club Marketplace for a couple of those huge sandwiches and a big bag of crisps and we sat having supper the boys ate theirs later in our room.
