Anniversary trip question

We're going to DW for our anniversary this year. Is there anything special they do for you if you let them know it's your anniversary? TIA!

As I'm sure many will tell you, don't go with your hopes up that special extras will happen, but they often do. Just make sure to mention it anytime you book reservations--for hotel, for dinner, etc. You never know what might happen.

DH and I went for our first anniversary last year, and when we ate at the California Grill, we got a complimentary dessert that had "Happy Anniversary" written on it. We were staying at BWV on points, so no upgrades there. But I've read that it has happened.

Try the re-hitching ceremony at Garden Grill, they have you read vows and kiss while veryone counts to 100 by tens! You get a "marriage license" and some characters are there. For more info do a search on these boards for re-hitching ceremony!

Heads up - I was planning on doing the re-hitching ceremony for my upcoming anniversary trip but I saw on another thread that they had stopped doing it....

we just got back last weeek from our 25th anniversary trip

and the morning of our anniv. the manager of the CBR came by and gave us an personal autograph of Mickey and Minnie!!!



it was really cute

we also got a dessert from the Teppankie (sp) in Japan


Not Disney but I surprised my DH with a Towncar at the airport.

He knew nothing about it and was totally speechless

We celebrated our anniversary by staying at the Contemporary. I did not tell the resort - but I did call the Disney Florist to have flowers at the resort upon our arrival for my DW.

I book the North wing - the tower was out of our budget.

When we arrive at the CR - we were bumped to a tower room -
the Disney Florist flowers I had ordered were on the table along with an anniversary certificate from the CR.

We had a very special anniversary week at WDW.
