We'll be there this year for our 9 year anniversary with our 7/4 yr old daughters. We wanted to do something special that would also be fun for our girls. Any suggestions? Probably can't find really good dining reservations at this point, but I'm watching the November reservation drop thread just in case! Hoping for something that maybe "does" anniversaries well.

MK dessert party is all booked. Anyone know if the IllumiNations dessert party is good?

I haven't done that one, but when we were there last it appeared to be standing only - no seats provided. Not sure if that makes a difference to you or not.

I know this isn't what you said, but you could send the kids to the kids club and go to Artist Point or another awesome restaurant! My kids are 5 and they have been to the kids club 3 times (once per trip) and that's what they talk about most! It IS special for them because they get to order their own dinner and do what they want! Just saying! Happy Anniversary!

This is what we have done for our anniversary dinners. Our kids LOVE the kids clubs.

I wish we had done that...we tried to take the kids to Yachtsman with us on our Anniversary...NIGHTMARE!

California Grill is a pretty nice option if you can get reservations and you can watch fireworks from the observation deck.

Someone mentioned a carriage ride. We did that last year & enjoyed it. The ride is available at Port Orleans Riverside. The dessert party is hard to get, but if you keep trying daily, you may be able to get in. People do cancel. We tried for over a month and a half last year and finally got a reservation. Good luck

We did the Epcot dessert party last year, standing only. Your kids would not reach the bar height tables.
