Our 3rd anniversary is coming up next Saturday, and I can't think of a thing to do. We'd like to do a "little" something, but on a budget, because we'd rather have "Disney Money" for our trip in October! (You know you're a DIS-nerd when...)

Luckily, both my mom and MIL have volunteered to watch our 2 year old, but I have a HSG and Sono that week, so a "night of fun" in a hotel is out of the quesition. (Secondary infertility sucks!) We're not big drinkers, and Hershey Park is really expensive. :scared1: I can't think of a darned thing to do!

Please help, I can't come up with a darned thing!

Happy Anniversary - great day for a wedding! We were married 11 yrs ago next Sat. We are also looking for a very budget idea. Sadly, I have none to share but will be looking forward to ideas too! We can't even think of anywhere we want to go out to eat at this point.

Our favorite thing to do is put a blow up matress on the living room floor, load up on finger foods and snacks, and just watch movies, or college football. I know not very exciting but we just love relaxing with each other. Could you have a picnic at park? or if you dont want to cook get take out and eat it a park or somewhere nice?

Thanks! Happy Anniversary to you too!

I can't think of anywhere to go out and eat, either. Of course we have a gift card for this Asian Fusion place, but meh, I don't think we'll end up going there. I wish there was more of a selection of non-chain, reasonably priced restaurants here!

Hmm the picnic isn't a bad idea.. I just hope next week is a tad warmer. It's 55 and rainy here, unseasonably cold! Brr!

LOL the living room idea sounds fun, but DH would be too tempted by his xbox!

Could you recreate your first date? Hold hands, giggle, butterflies in the tummy, kiss goodnight... all that fun, romantic stuff and off course the night can't end in hanky panky... it's your first date!
You could even have him leave and come back to "Pick you up"

For my birthday, six days before DD was born, DH suggested we stay in for the evening. We ordered in Chinese which I love and DS went to DSIL's house. We ate by candlelight and then watched a movie (rented). It was quiet, relaxing and fun. I think the whole evening cost <$20.

Hmmm... thats not a bad idea at all. I think I like that!

Hehe we did that last night, without the candles! :)

You can go to America's biggest RV show in Hershey and tour some of the million dollar motorhomes. It's not very expensive to get in and I always love going to RV shows. Maybe talk about retirement or where you would like to travel together in the future and just enjoy being together. Then go to a nice place for dinner (or make a dinner at home that you both enjoy, maybe a recreation of your first date meal?).

My bf and I never get each other anything for anniversaries. We write our top 5 memories that we have of our relationship and usually just go out to dinner. I treasure the talks we've had talking about our great memories and whenever I'm having a bad day or we're disagreeing about something I read his Top 5 memories and it always makes me smile.
