Anniversary Gift

Hi everyone,
I originally posted this in the restaurant forums but got no replies. I was hoping my fellow DVCer's could help.
My wife, son and I will be in WDW in April. I have purchased her a nice ring for our anniversary that is actually 2 weeks earlier. How would I go about getting a special dessert to present it to her or even the "slipper" dessert I have seen pictures of? I would like to do this at California Grill since it is one of our favorite restaurants to eat at.

Why not contact the California Grill directly and arrange something thru them.

You could excuse yourself just prior to dessert and place the ring in the slipper.

I agree. A place like the CG will go out of their way to help you out. But contact them (not Disney Dining) in advance then remind them when you arrive of what you want to do.

I did something similar on the Disney Cruise for my two daughters and it was a memorable event.
