anniversary celebration ideas

A good friend of mine is celebrating her mom and dad's anniversary at WDW resort. The parents (in their 60's), kids (30's) and a grandchild (3) are going to celebrate their anniversary by staying at the GF and going to the parks. Can anyone help with tips or ideas to make the celebration extra special? I will send her this link to help her plan the family gathering! Thanks!

How about a Specialty Cruise? I would suggest WISHES fireworks specialty cruise. I believe the pontoon boat can seat 8 adults total. They board at the various hotels around Magic Kingdom. You cruise the lake for about 45mins with a captain giving you a personal tour of the lake with facts etc. then when the time gets near you park the boat and watch the WISHES fireworks show over Magic Kingdom. Fun for all every age, from the young to the young at heart! The basic cruise is $125. I did an extra special cruise myself, we had pop, a large cake, balloons and decorations added to our cruise to celebrate an birthday! with that all added our total was $220. The prices can vary dependant of what "you want". They can have snacks, food,etc on the boat for you. Just call the 407-WDW-PLAY for reservations and pricing options.

I probably would call the GF..and tell them about this very special occassion and do a "magical gatherings" event, assuming there's 8 people ( guess they still have this??).. If not...the CM's will definitely suggest and arrange something special!!
