Anniversaries, surprises, and the world in June 2012!

Hi Everyone!

I will start by saying this will be my first ever pre-trip report so please bear with me

I am planning a surprise trip for my DH in June from the 16th-24th . It will be very hard on me not to tell him so I decided to write a pre-trip report so that I can tell someone! I intend on telling him about a week before our anniversary which will be 3 days before we leave that we will be having dinner at Le Cellier in one week! I have been to the world 3 previous times and my DH has been there twice the first being March 2011 where he fell in love with Disney and I'm sure he will be so excited!

Now for introductions!

I can't post pics because I'm not to 10 posts yet but I'm sure I will get there soon!

DH is Rick and I am Liz. Rick is a full time student working on his IT degree and I am loan officer/part time student.

My first trip to Disney was as a teenager with my mom and step dad about 15 years ago

Ricks first trip was with me last March we have a close friend who is a cast member who we are very grateful for. He booked us the family and friends rate and Rick loved every minute. We decided we didn't want his little brother to wait till 28 like Rick did so we took him back again in July. We know we wanted to get in one more trip just the two of us before we start a family of our own. He thinks we are skipping an anniversary trip this year to save but little does he know...

Hi Everyone,

I am getting everything booked I wanted. I'm so excited I feel like it was meant to be!

It's official we are arriving on the 16th and staying till the 24th at PORFQ!

I got the following dining reservations-

These are all dinner. We are on the regular dining usually do breakfast at the resort in the food court and then may get a snack during the day but I don't think we could do deluxe it would be way to much food for us.

16th- 50's Prime Time Cafe

17th- Liberty Tree Tavern

18th-Sci-Fi Dine In Theater

19th- Biergarten

20th- Le Cellier (This is our actual anniversary)

21st- Victorias and Alberts (I am kind of nervous about this one but I figured I would scoop it up since its available and think on it for a couple of days)

22nd- Tony's Town Square

23rd- Teppan Edo

I think I decided today how I am going to let him in on the magic

I decided I am going to do a scavenger hunt leading up to the trip

Day 1- I going to give him a world stress ball for Epcot with a letter that says we are taking a plane!

Day 2- I am going to give him a stuffed animal for Animal Kingdom with a letter that says we will see lots of animals but were not going to a zoo

Day 3- This is my Hollywood studios day and I am at a loss. I have thought a movie, a movie board like the ones they sell in the gift shops there with the different scene numbers but I have lots of time to think this one over. The letter this day will say you are going to be a movie star so you better get ready!

Day 4- I am going to give him Mickey Ears with a letter that says We are going to Disney World! This will be Thursday and we leave Saturday.

I am so excited for his reaction I just hope I don't give it away!

I love your ideas for the big reveal! I wonder if he'll put it together before you get all the way through. Going to be so much fun with him trying to guess - but I guess really hard for you not to tell him before then!
