Cast List:
Me: 28 with an incurable Disney habit
DH: 33 going on 5
Fern: luckiest crocodile in the world
We started going to Disney annually at Christmas back in 2005, this year we decided to go for our Wedding Anniversary too (7 years together and we haven't killed each other!!) so we will be buying AP's as we are also STILL going for Christmas (Dismas) and whilst we have them it would be rude not to take the niece for a couple of days in August also....
so this is the first of my 3 trips for the year.
You may have noticed my trips have strange names, like DISmas and AnniverDISNEY well my mum started this off by calling our xmas trips DISmas and it has kind of stuck so this year we have AnniverDISNEY (Wedding Anniversary trip), BirthDIS (mums birthday there in August) and DISnew year (pretty self explanatory that one). So if you cannot tell it is my mums fault I am the way I am
:
Following on from a near disastrous week I am finally here, I have made it to the day before we go!!! This is no thanks to one of my horses that decided to stamp on my foot first thing monday morning (yes she did it on purpose she's a clever witch!! think of Samson the princes horse in Sleeping Beauty for an idea of her character) I have been on crutches all week. Not good when the first 3 days of the holiday are to be spent wandering the streets of Paris...that's right, "wandering", not "limping" this holiday does not include crutches, they are not on my list of things to pack and there is no way in hell they are going with me. So I finally ditched them yesterday and can hobble very well!! Although I have been informed that despite my loathing for them Crocs are the thing that will get me round without too much pain. So despite swearing I would never ever adorn my feet with such monstrosities, Crocs are now on my list next to toilettries for things to buy today.
Well, I think I have everything ready for my flight at stupid o clock sunday morning Flying from Exeter with Flybe. I have booked my halfboard plus vouchers and my restaurants (Lucky Nugget, Walts, Blue Lagoon) got my euros set aside for my um...COCKTAILS (dreadfully important and dreadfully expensive but after the first 2 or 3 you stop counting the cost
)
Looking forward to Cruch's coaster (If we can get on!)and Stitch (my hero) Hubby very excited about TOT and also very much looking forward to checking out Paris as haven't actually been there for years!
I have said my goodbyes to the horses and all my cats are fast asleep and sulking with me because they know suitcases out the attic means they are about to be abandoned (the only part of going away I don't like is leaving my babies!!)
Right well I had better get up town for last minute essentials (Crocs) and get packing!!!
See you all when I get back (Quick dance)
