Sorry I've posted alot recently but I'm just excited I think.
First of all, is it possible to go into Annettes just for a drink or do you have to order food? If you DO have to order food, can it just been a sort of starter e.g nachos?
Also, on the take out menu, it says fountain treats which also include milkshakes. Is this correct and if so, do they just put it in a normal looking drinks cup?
Any help is great thanks

You may be able to just go in & buy a drink but I would say only try this during quieter periods as you would be tying up a table. You can just order apetisers off the menu though.

Do you think about 1ish would be busy?
Also, does anyone else know about the take out menu?

It usually busy in most restaurants between 12-2pm as this is when most people have lunch.

I would imagine the milkshakes would be put in normal take away drink cups

thank you,
has anyone ordered from the take out menu and if so, is the quality different or is it still as nice?

You can probabally sit at the counter and just have a drink . I know they put people up there who want to eat a little and fast as well as people on their own.

Concerning milkshakes they are in glasses inside and in drink cups outside as pp said.

The food is the same, maybe less chips, and it's not as nicely presented. Normal as it's not on plates etc.
People order takeaway at the outside counter and it can either be taken away or you can eat it outside on their tables. Last summer they brought it to the tables but I don't know if this is standard or not.

I am not a fan of Annette's, I find it subpar quality wise and service wise, but it is very popular and you will queue at busy times to eat there

When we got a takeaway from Annettes it took absolutely ages to order and then to get. Im sure they brought it to the table outside for us as people were waiting so long.
We have also just had a milkshake from there and it was in a normal drinks cup with lid and straw but wasnt as large as the ones inside

Thank you everyone.
A Small World, I've heard that from a few people about the long waiting so I may give the take out a miss and just eat inside. I'm just hoping we can also go in one day for a milkshake without it being too busy
