Hi,

I have been to DLP so many times and everytime I fancy trying Annette's Diner but there is always a huge queue and I know you can't make a reservation.

I have thought about doing a takeaway but the menu isn't as good, it looks like a poor mans substitute.

Does anyone have any tips for securing a table? Also if you turn up and there is a long wait, do you need to just sit and queue or do they give you a buzzer?

I am determind to have one of those burgers on my next visit :rotfl2:

Thanks

K

I don't have much advice other than try eating late but that won't work for everyone. When in DLP we like to eat about 9 and don't have to wait long.

If there's a queue you just wait in line, unless it's changed recently.

It is very good though, we go at least twice a trip!

We got a takeaway once and there was a really long wait for it so that isn't always the best option anyhow.

The best advice is to go outside main meal times - mid afternoon is often a good time

Great, I have made a vague plan for being away and the day that I was hoping to eat at Annette's I was planning a late dinner at around 9ish, so this may work well. Thanks :thumbsup2

if we are eating after the parade then we always watch it near the station and then power walk to Annettes to beat the crowd. This always seems to work for us. I think high summer or when the park is open till 11pm, then eating at around 9pm is also not too bad

we usually go for very early dinner for Annettes ie when the parade in the main park is on is a good time :).

We quite often go to Annettes at lunchtime, the park restaurants are always rammed and so for us it makes sense to pop into the village which is usually deserted.
We've never had a problem getting a table at lunch.:)

Just don't go there around park closing time! You should be ok otherwise!

We waited an hour when we went at 9pm in February, park didn't close until 10!
To be honest, mid afternoon is your best bet. I ate in late July there at around 4pm and that worked well. The chocolate brownies are delicious!!

We usually go mid to late afternoon or later in the evening but as the previous poster said, avoid park closing.

Having said that we have queued and usually been seated quite quickly:)

Wow, well I suppose when it's late closing it makes sense that some people can't wait until 10 or 11 to eat! I wouldn't be able to! Low season though, with 7pm closing, definitely avoid closing time!
