How can someone not live for their child and be so wreckless?

In the depths of despair and depression, people actually believe that their children are better off without them. That's how they can do this.

She always seemed so very troubled, from her terrible relationship with her own mother, to her recent legal troubles. Which news outlet is reporting that it was a drug overdose? (Not that any of us would be surprised, frankly), but CNN isn't reporting that. I think the hospital spokesman is about to make a statement.

I'm such a dingbat--couldn't figure out what PPD meant and then when Deb in Iowa responded..it clicked.

It could very well be that...PPD can leave you suicidal if you are that deep in despair.

The baby won't be brought into the States because of the paternity issue. It is enforcable here but not in the Bahamas.

Sad I thought she would get her life in check after the birth of her baby and the death of her son.

No matter what you think of her it is very sad anytime a baby may loose a parent.


If she survives I hope she is able to realize the amount of help she will need to correct her life for that little girl.

Maybe. It seemed like she'd finally gotten her life together when she had her daughter but then her son died, probably the combo sent her right over the edge again.

My prayers go out to that poor baby. I hope she is looked after and placed with her father or a good family.

What a tragic life she's led. After the devastating loss of her son, she couldn't get a moment's peace. Much as I thought she was a real flake, I thought it was shameful that the press constantly hounded her.

I hope that her daughter is raised in privacy, and in a loving home.
