Hello, we have been to the parks tons of times. Something we don't usually take time with or pay attention to is character meets. Our next visit will be a bit different, as we are bringing our 3 year old niece who loves all things Frozen. It's her first visit ever and we are so excited! My question is, what is the best way for her to meet Anna & Elsa? We will be visiting in October. I seem to remember it was in DL and there were fast passes involved, but it's in CA now, correct? Any tips? Do we still need to get fast passes? Thank you for any information you have!

We were last there in May, so not sure if things changed over the summer. Anna & Elsa were in DCA, in the same building as Art of Animation and Turtle Talk with Crush. No more Fast Passes. I would recommend going first thing in the morning or perhaps chancing it and going later in the day. We randomly stopped by early afternoon and the line was 2+ hours long. We went back at 5:30 and it was only 45 minutes. If we were to see them again, I'd go at rope drop, or just after TSMM and grabbing a few fast passes.

We were there in July. Throughout the four days, the longest I saw the line was about 10 families. One time, we were first in line in the afternoon. It didn't seem to be an issue.

We were there a month ago and literally walked right in, no line. This was at about noon or so.

I was there in May 2016. Each time I checked, the line was over an hour long to meet Anna and Elsa.

But, from the other responses in this thread, it seems that the wait time has significantly reduced (or maybe they hired extra Annas and Elsas to accommodate for the demand).

I wonder if the new Frozen show has diverted some traffic from the meet n greet. When we were there in May, it was a couple weeks before the show opened.

We were there in July. My DD is Frozen adverse due to over saturation, but we did the animation academy a few times during a couple of afternoons and we were sitting waiting for it facing Anna and Elsa's line. There were times when there was no line at all, people were walking right in. I think the most we saw in the line was about 5 families. We were teasing DD that we were going to take her to see them since there was no line. If you go and there is a long line, I would try to come back a little later to see if it was better.

I don't think that's it. We were there last October and the line was very short then as well. The Frozen musical hadn't even started yet then. I just think that many of the people who really wanted to meet A/E have met them and are sort of over they hype of the whole thing.

We were there last week and my daughter met them. We were in line for around 30 mins at 10am. The line looked short but it took a lot longer than expected. They spend a lot of time talking to each guest - which is nice - but makes the wait longer then it looks.

We were there in July too. When we went in the building, there didn't appear to be a wait, but my son didn't want to see them, or any other characters, so we just did Turtle Talk before heading to Frozen.

We just got back yesterday. We met Anna and Elsa on Tuesday (Monday? vacation days run together but I think Tuesday) around 2pm with a less than 5 minute wait. After we got in line it swelled to about 15 families but would still have been a very short wait. Overall we had great, simple experiences meeting the characters with minimal waits.
