I have made a huge error! No fastpass + to meet the Frozen princesses and it is the one must do for my 5 year olds first trip! And we go next week.


Yeah...

So after frantic searching, I think I may have found a loophole.

I was able to reserve breakfast for us at Crystal Palace before rope drop.

If I am willing to fly through breakfast and be done before 9, would it be possible for us to just go ahead and head for them, maybe even get in line?

I am even considering skipping the meal all together and just paying the cancelation fee if it will get us a chance to see Elsa. I am desperate!



Advice, suggestions?

yes you will be ok if you do either of those i am sure... but I would say you'll have decent chance of getting the a&e fastpass if you keep checking. you have to go in and act like you are going to reschedule the entire day if a&e fastpass isnt there just cancel it wont make any changes Ill say there is a good chance you might get one just keep trying.. good luck

From what I've read here, it seems that many are doing as you suggest and the line is building very early. I've read reports of others getting in line early as you suggest and still waiting 2 hours.
If you do not get a FP, it's been suggested to get in line later in the day as the wait gets shorter.
However, I would keep checking for a FP to open up. I would try each night at midnight (EST) and maybe again during the day. Some have been successful doing this.

Having a restaurant reservation doesn't work the same way as it did at Epcot. There is no way to walk up to the Fairytale place and get in the line.

Guests are held at a rope inside the park and then let in when the park opens. The advantage it might give you is that you could be one of the first at the rope. There are going to be some doing exactly what you mentioned - skipping the meal to stand by the rope and wait. However it is much harder to get the rest of the family to join you in line at Fairytale once you go inside the building, so you should probably have them all with you.

There may be 2 sets of princesses in there, but if they take 2 minutes with each group of guests then they will meet 30 groups of guests in an hour - that is why the lines are so slow, because so many people want to meet them. Also factor in that Fastpass holders will "cut" the line.

In booking our FastPass+ selections last week for our July trip, I was surprised to see that two of the four days we will be in Magic Kingdom already had no availability for Anna & Elsa! And that was at about 58 days out! YIKES!
