even though im more into kingdom hearts, i do love anime.
im cosplaying fai from tsubasa in may.
i also like ouran high school host club, fullmetal alchemist, princess princess, the tarot cafe, petshop of horrors, fruits basket, gilgamesh, gravitaion, mythical detective loki ragnarok, lost boys, loveless, advent children, sailor moon...

I've been watching Bleach lately too...

My friend was Fai for Halloween this year, it was pretty sweet!

Mm, sorry, the only anime I'm into is Pokemon, widely considered to be one of the worst animes evar. Sure, it's got it's good points, and plenty of them if you're into that kinda stuff, but it has been and always will be a kids' anime. I'd be much better off entertainment-wise going with a more intriguing, dramatic, or even just more well made anime, but I do like it for what it is: simple, uncomplicated, fun.

I also enjoyed a couple of the manga spin-offs as well: Toshihiro Ono's pseudo-novelization of the anime, (an excellent read, IMO, if only for the gorgeous art and Rocketshippy bits scattered throughout), and Magical pokemon Journey (AKA Pipipi adventures). MPJ is a shojou series and a whole lot of cutesy fun that I really enjoyed, even if the art was sort of a let-down after Ono's amazing renditions of the pokemon. But the authoress's super-adorable style was still amusing to read, and I loved the characters especially.

This is sorta off topic but what does cosplay really mean? I used to think it mean like um bad stuff but since you're talking about it here....

As far as I know, cosplay is just dressing up and/or roleplaying as your favorite anime characters, especially for cons and such. Sometimes they're just basic costumes, at or below the same level as your average Halloween costumes: yo get who the character represented is, but it isn't too detailed or fancy. But sometimes people will go all out in their costumes and make incredibly elaborate and realistic. I've seen pictures of some amazing cosplay before, and they've got forums dedicated to it, I think, if you want more info and/or pictures. There's nothing bad about it, really. (You may be thinking about, erm, hentei or echi stuff, which is, yeah, not DISapproved. At all. )
