It's huge, and somewhat intimidating, don't you think? I'm not sure if I'll be courageous enough to ride it, when it's finished! :faint: :)

Great pictures! When it is set to open? We will be there next May, hopefully by then!

I was really excited about it but then I read on the Theme Parks board that it's got 80 foot straight drop! I think I'll have to wait for some other roller coaster chickens to test it out first and see what they have to say. :sunny: Other than that, it looks pretty impressive.

It looks really good! I just returned from Disney last Friday and had thought it might be my last trip, but Expedition Everest might be a good excuse to go back again.

On a side note, I saw Lucky the Dinosaur at AK and he was SO CUTE!

Dangler, the notice they have up near the construction area only says "Opening 2006". Gives them 12 months or so leeway. ;) :)

RC Fan, my DH was thinking the same thing, that it might be his last trip for a while, until he saw EE. That, and the Food and Wine Festival, might get him back there! :)

If not, I'll go myself. :)

I have never visited during the Food and Wine Festival (which I hear is excellent) . I guess that is ANOTHER good excuse to go back.

EE is definitely an excuse for me to go back, 80ft drop and everything!! :cool1:

Great pictures, Kim!

Oh man I cant wait!!!!! It looks amazing!!! It's "scheduled" to open in April 2006 to coincide with earth day celebrations and the anniversary of AK.
From looking at pictures on the web, it looks like almost the same system as Revenge of the Mummy @ Universal. Well, the cars are the same (seating and restraints). Now if its better than the Mummy.... well, I'll wait until 2006 to decide that.
