Animal Kingdom Weds 12/7

Planned this day weeks ago, following TP crowd predictor a steady 2/10. Today it could not possibly have been that 'slow'. More like??? 5, 6? It did pour yesterday, so maybe people changed their day there and went today when it was beautiful.

Was anyone else there today and think there was no way it was a 2?

I know the TP, or any, predictor isn't 100% accurate necessarily but still....

We were there this morning and early afternoon. I think several factors played into it - weather yesterday, MVMCP last night, the park was closing for a Pop Warner party for the evening may have even been a weird factor? honestly, at this point, I think the crowd calendars are all very inaccurate. There have been too many last minute adjustments to evening hours and evening events.

While it wasn't a 2, we did still manage to do the Safari, Everest, Dinosaur and eat a quick lunch at tusker house in about 3.5 hours. I actually made an ADR for tusker about 10 minutes before and when we walked in, there were empty tables....So, maybe a 4/5? Crowds seemed high in some areas, but overall not horrible.

I gave up with the crowd calendars and buy park hoppers. If one park is too crowded, I just leave and try another!

This is why crowd calendars are so unpredictable. Plus, a 2 means different things to different people. It's just a guideline.

we did, definitely. We had done the safari around dusk the night before, which was good- cause when we went for our FP Weds morning the ride was stopped due to animals in the roads! So we skipped it. The only other hiccup was when we got to EE early after rope drop (half hour later , did Dinosaur first), the ride was down. DH was going to single rider it, but skipped it. We had my cousins, new to Dis with us, and was trying to estimate crowd level, as I had told them it should be a 2...so it all makes sense, and had fun. Weather was amazing.
