Animal Kingdom Update

Thank you so much for this! I did not know about this website either, so I am excited to dig into it. :)

I didn't see that they were continuing renovation. Is this why the trail past the Galapagos tortoises was blocked, as well as the Pangani Forest trail?

Okay - I really want to know - are they planning on tearing down the Tree of Life? That would really really really upset me. Animal Kingdom is about animals and the tree of life is absolutely breathtaking the way it is. I pray this is not a true rumor. I'm all for expansion and growth but for the love of God - don't take down the tree. That's the icon of the park. It's as bad, to me, as taking down the castle or adding a damn hat in front of the Chinese Theatre (which thank goodness is gone).

Where the heck did you hear that? That's completely false.

This deserves a second response.... No, they are not taking down the tree. There are rumors that some new lighting might be built into it for use during the new Rivers of Light show.

They have put blue lights in the tree that was shown last year during harambe nights.
