Animal Kingdom to Animal Kingdom Lodge

Sorry for the non-exciting post, I need to know the best way to get from the Animal Kingdom park to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We have dinner reservations at Boma's on the day that we're touring AK. Thanks.

The bus. The bus from AK to AKL takes about 5 minutes...that's what we do. In fact, we'll be touring AK, then heading to Boma for dinner at 5:30 and then taking the bus to MK for MNSSHP...well, at least that's our plan as of today!!

I made a dining ADR at 6:50, figuring we could spend a bit of extra time at AK's EMH before heading to the lodge. I hope WDW's website calendar is accurate, as we will have a bunch of time to kill if the EMH day is changed. I am wondering if it make more sense to take our rental car to AK that day, then drive to AKL and straight back to AS Mo, or just take the bus and hope we are finished in time to get back to AK for the bus back to AS Mo. I don't know if we'll be up to rushing to another park after dinner (I think only EP would be open at that point).

Unless you want to be free to drink during dinner, I think you are going to be much better off just taking your rental car. The trip back from AK -> AS will just be a pain without it.

Yeah, resort to resort trips on the bus can be a pain. You are going to need to transfer somewhere.
