Animal Kingdom Sweetheart Safari

My DH and I spent our honeymoon at Disney World last October, and we are planning on spending our 1st anniversary there this year also. We decided to start a tradition to recite our vows to one another every year on our anniversary...always in a new and different place. We have been brainstorming places on Disney property to do this...we've even thought about whispering them to each other in a doom buggy! But, then I read about the Sweetheart Safari on the Disney Parks Blog. Does anyone have any info about this? I can't find anything online about it. Thanks!!

I just went to msn and typed it in and it popped up. It explains what it is and what you get. I'm sure you can call wdw and get more info. It sounds like fun from what I read. Jo

I just called a few dept. at WDW (DVC and DFTW).

Someone from DFTW is going to call me back with info. I will post here whatever I find out.

This is definitely something I would want to do on a future trip with my DH!! (And now that we're DVC, we're guaranteed many trips to come!)

Okay, so this really interested me....until I did some research. After DAYS of finding NOTHING on Disney sites, google, bing, etc.... I came back to the dis and found this:

I am thinking this is a little out of my budget at the present time, but perhaps something for a future wish list to save up for.

Call me cheap, but if my hubby dropped that kinda cash on me i think I actually would be angry.

That money could be put to ALOT better use than a safari or dinner by the castle!!! (I mean we could fly to Africa and see the real thing at that price jeeeeeees)
