Hi!
What is the difference between Savannah and Deluxe Savannah rooms at AKL? thanks for your help!

We stayed in a Deluxe Savannah View room a few years back. I believe they are only on the top 2 levels of the AKL; are about 40 square feet larger than the Standard Savannah View room; and ours had an extra chair (although I think some have a day bed, although I'm not sure). Our room had the two Queen size beds. You can see the chair in the photo below.

We had a Deluxe Savannah room at AKL, but it was the bunkbed one. Two twin bunkbeds, a queen size bed, daybed/couch and the table and chairs. :)

I see that there is a difference in room size but is there a difference in ability to see the animals (room location)? Thanks!

The Deluxe Savannah views rooms are the only rooms that sleep a family of 5 so from what I know that means they have a queen bed, bunk beds and a daybed in them.

The three times we stayed at the AKL we had a Deluxe Savannah Room. They are located on the fifth floor. They are the same rooms used for the Concierge Level. We stayed "Concierge" twice. The rooms are bigger than the regular savannah view rooms. We had two queen beds, table and two chairs and a lounge chair. We were always on the Arusha Savannah, Zebra Trail (closer to the pool and restaurants).

We were upgraded to a Deluxe Savannah room on our first visit to AKL. However, we had a King and daybed. Definitely bigger than the std room. Ours was also on the 5th floor.
