I wonder what AK & New EMH in the Evening Will Be Like?

FACTS From Disney.com
*Thursday 5/13/04 is EVENING EMH @ AK
*Official Park Hours are 9-5
*EMH - 3 Extra hours for Kilimanjaro Safaris + other attractons
This means an 8PM closing time......

So...

According to timeanddate.com - Sunset in Orlando is 8:08 PM
This could be very cool...Exiting the AK @ Dark!
Has this ever been done by a GUEST before??

Yes, I know it has happened at least once. Back in September 1999 Hurricane Floyd threatened Florida. The governor ordered all theme parks closed early the day before the hurricane was due. They were expected to be closed all day the next day as well. Floyd made a turn to the east and Central Florida was saved from everything but a lot of wind.

The next day, Animal Kingdom opened at noon to on sight guest. The park was open until well after dark I think around 8:00. This was my first trip to the park. Exiting the park after dark was rather spooky. The lighting i thought was much more subdued in the park after dark. The Oasis in particular did not have large scale lighting to keep it illuminated. I left the park feeling they had not planned on staying open after dark. Things may be different not though.
