Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village

I will be making my first DVC reservation in a few weeks. My home resort is AKV. When we went to sign up it was for Kidani Village. Do I have to tell them I want to stay at the Kidani Village part? With AKV being our home resport can we stay at Kidani Village or Jambo House?

Hi! Welcome Home! You will specify Kidani or Jambo when you make your first reservation and you can stay at either one. We will be staying at Kidani this August and have already stayed at Jambo twice. We love our home resort but hope to try others soon.

AKV is AKV. Points purchased for Jambo House = points purchased for Kidani Village. Except when it comes to making a reservation. You need to specify where you want to stay.
