Animal Kingdom - (Its all about the theming and detail)

Despite all the construction going on at the Animal Kingdom (March 2015) with the new planned light show or whatever they are planning there, Animal Kingdom's great theming and detail is a photographers paradise.

Last nite was the first time I viewed these images since my vacation in March and I was really pleased with the outcome of these images. I think my favorite image is the shot of the tropical bird (don't know the name) with its bright red eyes staring up and then the black background and plumage ... Right lighting, location and luck.

Great photos, Ken. Thanks for sharing them with us. We love AK. We had the privilege of seeing the park before it opened to the public during AP preview and also attending grand opening. We spent hours and hours exploring every inch of the park and soaking in the endless details that the average guest blows right past as they race to the safari or Everest. I think it is by far the most beautiful of the parks. It's a shame that most people don't appreciate that.
