What is the best option for this? Trying to get in at rope drop or trying to do single rider line?
We are wondering what would work for us since we are unable to get FP....
What have the lines been like for those of you that have done either rope drop and/or single rider?

Single rider has not been used yet. Your best chance is arriving about an hour before park opening

They are not using single rider right now.. without a FP rope drop is your best bet from what I am hearing.

I would stand-by this attraction at least once (the line is one of the best I think at WDW) and use FP at least once. The FP line pretty much completely skips the stand-by line details. The FP wait for me when I used it was about 5 minutes. If there are any EMH on your trip, I would use that to use stand-by. If you want to get there before rope drop, get there an hour before.
