Animal Kingdom EMH Evening

Hello all,

How late does AK stay open on EMH evenings? We'll be there 3/22 and it states the park is open untill 6pm. On the Disney site it's rather vague and says, "parks stay open up to 3 hours later..."
So, it is 3 hours?

Yes, it would be open until 9:00. But not all the attractions are open, so make sure you look at the list of EMH attractions or you might be disappointed. However, the park is really pretty at night and it's a neat experience just to soak up the atmosphere.

We did the EMH a week ago. There was only 1 showing of the Lion King show, and the Jungle Trek(I think all of the trails) was closed off, but we did the Kilomanjaro twice no waits, Kali RR they let the kids keep riding w/out getting off since no one was waiting. The park is pretty at night.

When I was there, they were letting people ride TS repeatedly without getting off. It was great to see the Tree of Life from that height. Also, Pooh and Eeyore were across from Flame Tree BBQ, and there was no wait. Hardly anyone goes to AK evening EMH, so it's a wonderful way to avoid crowds, and like was said before, soak up the atmosphere.

I think I'll have to look into the EMH. I think I'd like to experience AK at night.

Keep in mind that most, if not all the animal attractions are closed for EMH.. Safari is very rarely open passed 6pm. Just be sure to check, because we had a LOT of dissapointed people on wednesday night!

We visited the Animal Kingdom last March for the EHM evening, and had a wonderful time. The park is beautiful at night!
