Animal Kingdom/DTD Photo Ops/Mini Golf Sketch Swap~FULL and ACTIVE

Hi all!

I am working on Kali River Rapids, but I am second guessing my paper. I am trying to use more patterns - I love it when anyone else does it, but mine always look so - noisy.

Here is the sketch for reference:

Here are my colors.

The pink is really more vibrant, with gold/yellow to pick up the gold. I'm afraid they clash. My embellishments use all 3 colors, plus orange. I don't know - I think I'm just afraid of anything not solid! There will be a white border and journaling box and that will tone it down. I tried it with photo mats to see if it toned in down:

So what do you think? Keep in mind that that is NOT the journal box. I have to have some element of surprise! Would white help?

Also, preference as far as 3x3 photos vs. another 4x6? Thanks!

I bought my paper for Triceratops spin today. I need to go dig up my sketches now that I have room on my computer.

I also bought one set of paper for the remaining pages to see what else I need. I need to buy some patterned paper.

I am checking in. I am way behind, but plan to work on these tonight and all day Wednesday. I think I have most of my paper and ideas. I just need to sit down and get them moving. I guess that is what happens when my best friend and her kids spend a week at my house and we go to wdw 5 times. Now that they have headed home I should have more time to get finished.

Here is my prototype for Camp Minnie-Mickey. Sorry that it is side ways - photobucket always gives me a hard time. I am thinking that the signs on the tree in the right hand corner can be for journaling. Nothing is attached yet. Let me know if there is anything that I should change or if everything looks okay.

A couple things:

For the pirates in the door way and outside of world of Disney I am not sure what to put for a title. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

And for the Buzz and "Woody"(which is actually Mr Potato Head) is everyone okay with the title being either "Once Upon A Toy"? I figured that way it could incorporate the whole store, since there are lots of things in the store that you may take pictured of too.

Here is my AK- entrance....

In this sketch, you can do:
Option A: on the left: 2 - 6x4 and 2- 3x2 (to the right side of the tree trunk); right side 3 - 6x4
Option B: 4 - 3x4 and 2 -3x2(to the right side of the tree trunk); right side 2- 4x6 and 6- 2x2
Option C: 12 - 2x2 and 3 -2x2 (on the right side of the tree trunk); right side 24 - 2x2
Option D: 8 - 3x2 and 2- 3x2 (to the right side of the tree trunk); right side 12 - 3x2
Or any other combos you can think of!! There are so many options!!!
It is based very loosely on the following sketch...rotated of course..

Going to NH for my annual crop weekend Thursday and Monday is a holiday.

I'm enjoying the new job. Learning a bunch and trying to stay busy. If it weren't for the train ride home I'd give it a 9 out of 10. The commute home makes it more like a 7.5. Sigh.
